With ten years and ten films under his belt, Los Angeles based filmmaker Joshua Friedman has garnered international recognition in the festival circuit, winning more than 25 awards and honors for short-form movies, all of which he has written, directed and mostly produced.
Set to direct the full-length action adventure feature The Queen’s Jewels (currently in post-production), Friedman is known for his vibrant storytelling style and relentless work ethic and is pouring ten years of deep creativity and business know-how into bringing this magical epic to life.

About the film
Young and adventurous surfer Beau Holloway is convinced his late father found a clue hidden inside an antique journal leading to Queen Elizabeth of Spain’s missing 300-year-old treasure in the Bahamas. After his father’s murder, Beau sets sail in pursuit of the missing fortune believed to be in the wreckage of the 1715 Spanish Fleet. Upon arriving on Andros Island, he makes fast friends with locals Orion and Lala. The two join Beau in his quest to find the treasure — but they aren’t the only ones gunning for it.
